Community Engagement
Edinburgh Science works closely with community partners within Edinburgh to develop their science communication skills and deliver bespoke workshops and activities for various age groups.

Past Projects

Live For It!
We worked in partnership with Diabetes Scotland to deliver Live For It!, a health education programme for P7–S2 pupils, designed to help tackle childhood obesity and highlight the possible risks of developing Type 2 diabetes in later life from 2011–2015.

Touring Gadget Factory
Touring Gadget Factory was a workshop created and delivered by Edinburgh Science and supported by Siemens, as part of a three-year sponsorship plan.

The Curiosity Project is Siemens’ UK-wide engagement programme, aimed at inspiring young people and bringing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to life. We're working with them to inspire young people to choose careers in STEM!
