About the event
How can nature help us with our trickiest challenges? Biomimicry is the practice of copying strategies found in nature, and has transformed our understanding of design, AI, art and much more.
In this unique event, our special guests will explore all things biomimicry in the artificial rainforest and planetarium dome at Dynamic Earth. Dr Veronika Kapsali, Professor of Materials and Design at the London School of Fashion will focus on design, while Eve Poole will consider the ethics of artificial minds and bodies. We'll also be joined by boredomresearch – AKA Vicky Isley and Paul Smith – who will showcase digital artworks inspired by the natural environment.
